Boost Me (for free)

If this helps you, a like / boost would be really appreciated 😄

If your A1 AMS Hub PTFE tube gets forced into a sharp side angle when the toolhead moves to the far right of X, it can add drag, cause hub noise, and sometimes lead to feeding issues (including “The AMS assist motor is overloaded”).
This snap-in part replaces the original hub cap and guides the PTFE into a smoother path, reducing side load and improving filament feed consistency.

Installation (quick):

  • Carefully remove the original hub cap (watch the spring inside – don’t lose it).

  • Slide the printed part in gently (the small retaining tabs are delicate).

  • Reinstall the hub and route the PTFE through the guide.
