Description
Need robustness? This 30x30mm profile (Type 3030) is the 'big sister' version of the 2020 standard. Wider and stiffer, it has an 8mm slot, compatible with standard M6 or M8 fasteners (30 series T-nuts).
It's the ideal part for structures requiring more strength: workbenches, large printer frames, CNC structures, or workshop furniture.
📏 100% Customizable Length in Bambu Studio: The provided file is a basic 100mm module, but you can print any length without CAD software!
- Open the file in Bambu Studio.
- Select the object and click on the Scale tool (Shortcut: S).
- Uncheck the "Uniform Scale" box.
- Modify the Z value (height) according to your needs (e.g., 200mm, 50mm, 180mm...). The profile will retain its perfect 30x30mm section; only the length will change!
⚙️ Recommended Print Settings:
- Strength: Given the size, I recommend 4 or 5 walls so the slots resist screw tightening.
- Infill: 25% to 40% (Gyroid or Honeycomb pattern).
- Material: PLA+ (prototyping) or PETG/ASA (functional parts).
- Position: Print vertically (no supports needed)
