Description

Keep a special bottle safe until it’s time to celebrate. This print turns a standard corked wine bottle into a lockable bottle by covering the cork/neck area and using a small padlock so the cork can’t be pulled.

Perfect for: gifts, “save it for later” bottles, party/prank bottles, cellars, shared fridges, and keeping curious hands from popping the cork early.

Features

  • Designed for corked wine bottles (not screw caps)
  • Covers the cork/neck so the cork can’t be extracted while locked
  • Uses an off-the-shelf padlock (keyed or combo)
  • Easy, no-tools install/remove (besides the padlock)

Hardware

  • 1× small padlock (choose one with a shackle that fits your printed hole/slot)
    • Tip: measure your padlock shackle diameter and scale the model slightly if needed.

Printing tips

  • Material: PETG / ABS / ASA recommended (stronger + more heat resistant). PLA works, but can deform in hot cars/sun.
  • Settings: 0.2 mm layers, 4+ walls, 30–50% infill
  • Supports: only if your slicer preview shows bridging issues around the lock area

Fit notes

  • Designed around standard 750 ml corked bottles. Bottle necks vary—if it’s too tight/loose, try scaling X/Y a few percent.
  • This is a deterrent / novelty lock, not a high-security device.

If you tell me what padlock shackle diameter you’re using (and roughly which bottle style), I can suggest a quick scale % to dial in the fit.
