Modular Collapsible Saber 1 (with light cap)
Print Profile(4)

Description
This customizable collapsible saber is the first (1st) set in a collection of many different designs that I wanted to create.
I am just getting into the 3D design space and trying new things with my 3D printer, and these collapsible sabers have been the result of my tinkering. As I learn new techniques, I am updating my old designs to make sure they are the best they can be!
The sections screw together and meant to be interchangeable with all the parts in this collection. Here is a link to the whole collection: https://makerworld.com/en/@bill.m.davis/collections/713533
Mix, match, and make your own unique saber!
Update 8/24/2024:
In an effort to standardize all my designs and make them more easily compatible I have created “version 2” of them and will be slowly (in my free time) updating each one! My idea is maintain the original designs, but slightly tweak the proportions and interfaces to makes sure they are all easily interchangeable. In this effort, I am hoping to increase the strength of some of the weaker models also.

Update 10/2/2024:
I have added a light module option to this design! It includes the same holders (A and B) for different pen light types, and different caps for the different length pen lights (3.5" and 5.2").
These are the flashlights I use with this design (Non-affiliated links):
- US: (3.5 inch - short pen lights) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B097MKQ8MG
- US: (5.2 inch - long pen lights) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09H2MNB65
- UK: (3.5 inch - short pen lights) https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07LC6YPTC
- FR: (3.5 inch - short pen lights)
https://www.amazon.fr/dp/B0BX3T43VC
I like the shorter lights because I don't want the saber to be too long, but the longer ones are brighter and last longer.

This update also includes the option to connect your sabers. The normal end cap has been modified to allow for the connector to screw two sabers together. This option is only available without the light module; it is one or the other.
Note from the designer: I personally do not like connecting two sabers. I think it makes them too long and prone to breaking something. I have added them at the request of the many. So if you want a double saber, enjoy!

I am new to this. Boosts let me know if my effort is worth it. It takes a lot of time to come up with and test all these designs and improvements. Let me know which ones you really love.
