Spool Nest – Modular Filament Storage

Spool Nest is a minimalist storage solution designed to keep filament spools organized and visually calm.

Created under my FORMAstudios label, it focuses on clean geometry and practical use while blending naturally into modern workspaces and studios.

This release includes two dedicated variants. One version is designed to mount to the side of an IKEA BROR shelf, creating a compact and accessible storage solution directly on the rack. The second version is designed for wall mounting, offering a clean and flexible way to store multiple spools vertically.

For the wall-mounted version, additional printed support brackets are included. These allow the use of longer wooden rods for expanded capacity and improved stability. Both variants are designed to work with 25 mm diameter wooden dowels, which are not included and need to be sourced separately. The printed angle brackets define the structure and hold the rods securely in place.

All mounting holes are designed for M5 screws, allowing for a solid and reliable installation on IKEA bror shelves or walls.

For the IKEA Bror version insert a M5 nut for easier assembly.
