Instructions
- Use the Length slider on the left to set your desired extrusion length (in mm).
- Click Generate to rebuild the model.
- Download the generated STL.
- Slice and print as usual.
This is a 3D-printable, MakerBeam XL–compatible 15×15 profile with a parametric length. It’s intended as a lightweight alternative to aluminum extrusion. I originally needed a custom-length extrusion as an alternative while building my BeamCase, and didn’t want to be limited to standard (and expensive) lengths. I made this to prototype without waiting on hardware. Useful for mockups and fixtures where aluminum would be overkill.
