Description
This camera mount is designed specifically for the Tapo C246D dual-camera system, providing a secure and stable installation on vinyl siding. The model shown in the images is printed using durable PETG material for enhanced weather resistance.
The mount is designed for the factory mount to be fastened to it and is angled at 22.5 degrees to point downwards, allowing for a better vantage point.
The screw holes are designed for #4 x 1-in screws and will fit the camera provided mount.
Installation:
- Screw in the factory-provided mount while positioning the camera cable behind it, if necessary, to allow powering the camera through the top.
- Insert the mounting clip at a 45-degree angle to position it under the vinyl siding, then straighten it for a secure fit.
- Gently pull down on the mount to ensure everything is properly secured.
- Slide the cameras into the factory provided mount.
Removal:
- Rotate the mount 45 degrees and carefully pull downward to detach it from the siding.
There is a 20mm backing behind the mount to ensure that the bottom camera, which pans and tilts, won’t hit the wall during movement, accommodating the altered range of motion.
