A perpetual calendar inspired by the classic game Pac-Man

The back can embed four 8mm*2mm magnets to attach to a refrigerator or any metal surface. You can add recesses for larger magnet sizes by "adding negative parts" (After testing the magnetic effect, I do not recommend using magnets smaller than 8mm)

The characters from the game (Pac-Man, various ghosts) can represent the current date, and items (strawberries, apples) can mark important days. These parts are designed with recesses on the back, allowing them to be inserted onto the raised dots at will

The first configuration is suitable for friends without an AMS. The base plate has pauses set where color changes are needed. Please load the filament in the order of black→blue→white→yellow. The remaining ghosts can be printed flexibly in your preferred colors

The second configuration requires an AMS. The base plate has 4 colors, and the part sections have another 4 colors. It is recommended to print in plate order to minimize filament changes. The part plate's print-by-object has been set up

Note:

1. I used PLA Matte filament. The part connections have been tested to be quite snug, but still easy to replace. PETG I have not tested, but friends in the comments have tested it and reported it works, so feel free to try

2. This type of model is prone to warping issues. I added brim which should help somewhat. During my own tests, I found slight warping, but it doesn't significantly affect the result. It is recommended to clean the build plate thoroughly before printing, or apply glue. (Especially for A1 mini!)

3. Print more ghosts and items than actually needed, as spares. However, if you observe closely, the direction of the ghosts' eyes varies. You can use this difference to indicate the flow of time

4. For the surface details of the ghosts' eyes, strawberries, and apples, I chose to color them with acrylic markers. The model itself has some height differences, so I found it very easy (and fun) to color

5. The magnet holes on the back plate retain supports, so flush cutters may be needed for removal

If you find any issues with the part connections, please leave a comment for me. I can upload configurations with different tolerances. You can then reprint the parts to ensure a snug fit

Looking forward to your feedback!
