Description

Boost Me (for free)

I designed a bird feeder inspired by vintage rocket designs. This model is printed in separate parts, so it does not require an AMS or multi-material system.

Assembly

  • Glue: All parts are designed to be joined with superglue.
  • Hanging: There is a 4mm channel running through the center of the rocket. Thread a hanging line (heavy-duty fishing line works well) through the center to hang the feeder.

Operation & Refilling

  • Filling: To refill, slide the nose cone up the hanging string to reveal the opening at the top of the rocket body.
  • Seed Type: The seed exit hole at the base is 15mm.
    • Use: Small bird seed blends (millet, etc.).
    • Avoid: Large seeds like sunflower seeds, as they will clog the 15mm opening.

Thanks for checking it out!
