Description
Mjolnir – in my interpretation – combines black inserts with the classic metallic color of Thor's hammer. Note: This project utilizes the "fuzzy skin" (0.3/0.3) method of painting, combining two colors. The black inserts should be printed separately to save printing time. The patterns are completely random and have no meaning or name. To properly assemble the hammer, you need an 8 mm diameter rod measuring 44/45 cm long. This runs through the entire hammer, ensuring stability and maximum strength. A matching nut is required at the end of the rod, which hides in the pommel guard. The shaft strap should have a hole through which the rod can be threaded, further strengthening the whole thing. However, this does not guarantee "swinging" by the strap. Note: The models on the board should be carefully verified. There is also an alternative solution for applying the grip pads to the shaft. This reduces printing time, but affects the visual effect. I had to separate the shaft into two pieces, and care must be taken to properly screw them onto the screw. The model may require the use of instant glue on the cap and black inserts. I printed on Pet-G for durability; consider SILK filament and precise layers. Happy building :).
