🎲 Dice Duel

Dice Duel is a strategic board game for two players that combines tactical thinking, smart positioning, and controlled luck in an intense duel on a compact board.

The game is played on a 7×7 board, and each player controls 7 dice. Every decision matters, and every move can change the course of the match.

• Approximately 10–20 minutes
  (depending on how many rounds you agree to play: first to 3 wins, first to 5 wins, etc.)

🎯 Objective

The goal of the game is to eliminate all of your opponent’s dice or to force them into a position where they can no longer make any valid moves.

⚙️ Game Setup

1. Place the game board between the two players.
2. Each player receives 7 dice of a distinct color.
3. Dice are placed on each player’s starting row
   (players mutually agree on which face of the dice is facing up).
4. Randomly determine which player takes the first turn.

🔄 Gameplay

Players take turns, performing one action per turn.

A turn may include:

• selecting a die,
• moving it on the board forward, sideways, or diagonally — never backward,
• interacting with an opponent’s die (attack).

⚔️ Basic Rules

• Each die may be moved one square per turn, forward, sideways, or diagonally.
• Movement is done by rolling the die.
• When moving diagonally, the die is rolled first sideways and then forward.
• When a die comes into contact with an opponent’s die, a duel occurs
  (when dice from opposing teams are in adjacent squares, facing each other or side by side).
• The outcome of a duel is determined by the values shown on the dice:
  • the die with the higher value wins,
  • the die with the lower value is removed from the board,
  • if the values are equal, both dice are removed from the board.

🧠 Strategy and Tactics

Although dice introduce an element of luck, Dice Duel rewards:

• careful positioning,
• anticipating your opponent’s moves,
• strategic sacrifices,
• controlling the center of the board.

🏆 End of the Game

The game ends when:

• one player has no dice left on the board,
  or
• one player is the first to reach the last row (the opponent’s starting row).

The remaining player is declared the winner of the duel.
