Description

This project is a 3D-printed enclosure for an external SPI display based on the ILI9341 (240×320), designed specifically for M5Stack Cardputer-Adv.

The case was designed in Fusion 360.
The main goal was to create a clean, sturdy mount for an external display — no loose parts, no temporary hacks.

Design features:
    •    designed for ILI9341 240×320 displays
    •    rigid screen mounting using screws
    •    comfortable viewing angle for work and gaming
    •    clean cable routing
    •    suitable for SPI setups (shared SPI bus with SD card)
    •    works well with emulators, terminals, and DIY projects

The enclosure mounts directly to the Cardputer-Adv and allows the external display to be used as a primary screen or an additional monitor.

Use cases:
    •    emulators (NES, ZX Spectrum, etc.)
    •    terminal and debug displays
    •    custom UI and embedded projects
    •    experiments with external displays

A video showing how the external display is connected and configured is available on my YouTube channel. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCHmDpRUyWauBASERh3t359Q
The full source code (display initialization, SPI setup) can be downloaded from my GitHub. https://github.com/AndyAiCardputer

The STL files are ready for printing!
