Description
This model allows you to reuse the RFID tags with any spool of filament. Its low profile works with all versions of the AMS. It even works with the AMS Lite on a vertical stand, where there's not much clearance between the spool and the stand. Four small drops of super glue in the corners to install onto reusable filament spool, and then just slip the RFID tag in and out. I use colored dot stickers to label the colors of the RFID tags. I always put the dot on the same side so that I know which side goes down when inserting the RFID tag. I print them in PETG so that they'll withstand the heat from the filament dryer. Otherwise, I'm sure PLA will work fine. Great for end-of-spool prints.
