Compact Thermometer Case with Wired Probe and Probe Holder

 

Hello everyone!

 

This compact, battery-powered thermometer case with a wired probe is useful for checking temperatures in the hydraulic lines of commercial and industrial HVAC systems

 

I needed a Compact, Economical, Non-Invasive, and Fast solution to check the inlet and outlet temperatures of the chiller/heat pump unit and/or in the fluid distribution to the terminals (distribution manifolds, finned coils, etc).

 

 

To make the instrument's positioning permanent, I've inserted hooks on the back of the case, allowing the instrument to be fixed to Vertical and Horizontal pipes or to any surface where you want to secure the thermometer.

 

Also included in the print file is the probe holder, designed to attach the probe to the pipe whose temperature you want to measure. This Clip allows you to place the thermometer probe on the surface of the pipe you want to measure and secure it with an electrical tie. This allows for precise measurements (always by contact) and the possibility of leaving the probe permanently anchored to the pipe.

 

Compact thermometers are easily available online (Amazon, AliExpress, etc.), very inexpensive, and have acceptable accuracy (+/- 1°C), which allows us to obtain approximate point measurements for potential diagnosis or simply to know the pipe temperature.

 

Within the print profile, both colored and uncolored components are present, in different quantities per individual plate/component
