Mount - Owlet Dream Sight / Duo Gen 3 to Bassinet

The Owlet Dream Duo Gen 3 / V3 baby monitoring system comes with the Owlet Dream Sight for a camera. Yout stock mounting options are just for standing it on a table or mounting to the wall with screws… neither of which work well if you want to move your bedside bassinet around some.

It may work for other bassinets, but you'd need to check measurements. This bassinet used a round rod that is ~0.75" OD and has some extra cushioning on it. Just stick the clip portion down until it pops into place and then swivel the camera as normal to position it. 

The model has 3 parts, which need to be glued together. Two parts make up the housing for a snug fit to the owlet base. One has 1/16" pins and the other has 1/16" holes. These are really just meant for alignment and I recommend running a bead of CA glue along the entire contacting surfaces. The back portion has supports that need to be peeled off. It will leave a pretty rough surface, which is perfect for gluing to. The final part is the clip and should be glued to this rough surface. 

I'd recommend leaving this on the bassinet only for as long as your baby isn't pulling up on the bars at all. You don't want them grabbing the expensive camera, or worse, finding a way to play with the cables.
