Project IJ Tow Hitch – Compatible with Petr Patocka Trailers

This model is a tow hitch designed for Project IJ, created to be fully compatible with Petr Patocka’s excellent trailer system.

The hitch geometry is based on Petr Patocka’s original tow hitch design, ensuring proper fit and reliable function with his trailers. His original model includes the remaining trailer-mounted components, which makes it easy to use this hitch not only with printed trailers, but also to adapt it to store-bought or other custom trailers.

Notes

• This upload includes only the vehicle-side tow hitch
• Trailer-side parts are available in Petr Patocka’s original models
• Full credit to Petr Patocka for the original trailer system design
• Use 3-5mm longer screws (I used M3x20).
• 2 files are included. One for the lower hitch mount, and one that is raised (perfect for the offroad utility-trailers from china)
