Description

Two Faces man woman – Abstract Sculptural Bust

This abstract sculptural bust represents two serene faces—man and woman—merging into a single flowing form. The design focuses on harmony, balance, and intimacy, with smooth organic curves that transition seamlessly from one face to the other.
Minimalist yet expressive, it works beautifully as a modern decorative piece for shelves, desks, or interior spaces.

The model is optimized for FDM printing and looks especially striking in matte or neutral filaments, but it can also be pushed further with texture-focused finishing techniques.

Printing Notes & Recommendations

  • Orientation
    • Printed upright, the model requires supports due to the overhangs between the faces.
    • If you lay the model flat, it can be printed without supports, resulting in a cleaner surface overall.
  • Surface Finish
    • For best visual results, consider using variable layer height on the outer surfaces to enhance detail.
    • Alternatively, Fuzzy Skin can be enabled for the final layers.
      • When tuned correctly, this can produce a subtle wood-like texture effect (see picture for reference).
  • Suggested Settings (starting point)
    • Nozzle: 0.4 mm
    • Layer height: 0.20 mm (use variable layers for finishing)
    • Infill: 10–15%
    • Material: PLA / PLA+ (PETG also works but may require tuning)
