🛠️ Assembly steps

1️⃣ Print

Print both parts:
    •    the little train with the pin housing
    •    the base with the little hearts

2️⃣ Support removal

Carefully remove all supports from the little train and the pin, leaving the parts clean and ready for assembly.

3️⃣ Inserting the music box key

Insert the music box key into the slot of the printed pin.
It is normal for some force to be needed: the key must fit snugly to prevent unwanted movement.

To facilitate the operation:
    •    place the pin on a hard surface
    •    push the key all the way in

⚠️ Make sure the key is fully inserted, otherwise it might get stuck on the base during rotation.

4️⃣ Train + pin assembly (GLUE → INSERT)

Apply a small amount of glue (cyanoacrylate or plastic-appropriate glue) inside the train's housing or on the part of the pin that will be inserted.

Immediately after:
    •    insert the pin into the train until it stops
    •    hold the pin in place for a few seconds, ensuring it remains perfectly straight

👉 This step is essential to ensure:
    •    stability during rotation
    •    absence of play or vibrations
    •    smooth and long-lasting rotation

Allow the glue to dry completely before proceeding.

5️⃣ Mounting the mechanism in the base

Place the Piano Music Box Bottom Winding Kit – K014 into its housing inside the base.
Holding the mechanism steady with one hand, flip the base over and:
    •    insert the three screws into the designated holes
    •    tighten them with a Phillips screwdriver

⚠️ Do not overtighten: a gentle tightening is sufficient to secure the mechanism. Excessive force could damage the plastic.

6️⃣ Final assembly

Screw the little train, with the pin and key already assembled, clockwise onto the pin of the music box mechanism.
