Description

If you're here, you've probably learned mixing filament prints on the same build plate can lead to failures.  And if you have multiple machines and/or build plates, it's easy to lose track and who wants to risk failures or re-Dawn their plates needlessly?

Surprisingly, there weren't too many build plate labels, and they also didn't meet my needs.  So I made some.  There are four variants:

  1. Pre-made labels that utilize AMS multicolor
  2. AMS multicolor Customizable labels (modifying text in Bambu Studio)
  3. Pre-made labels that utilize a single color with an emboss/void
  4. single color customizable labels (modifying text in Bambu Studio)

Care has been taken to ensure several things with many test prints:

  • Work with both the thinner textured plate and thicker smooth plate
  • not interfere with the build plate when on the heated bed
  • not be needlessly thick or filament intensive (the single color version is less than 1 gram)
  • to be slim enough to fit next to each other in a build plate holder with the labels attached
  • allow mixing and matching labels on either side

I hope you like these and they are useful to you as they are to me.  Enjoy!
