Overview
"Smart internal hotend storage for the P2S."
Keep your spare hotends organized right inside your printer. This mount leverages the internal magnets of genuine Bambu Lab hotends, providing a secure snap-fit when docked.
Key Features
- Magnetic Synergy: Specifically designed to align with the hotend's internal magnets for a secure hold.
- Zero-Hardware (Center): The existing chassis screw serves as the magnetic anchor for the center slot.
- Standard Spec: Designed for screws in the side slots to enable full magnetic docking (friction-fit works without screws, but they are recommended for maximum stability).
- Universal Fit: Compatible with 0.2mm, 0.4mm, 0.6mm, and 0.8mm genuine hotends.
Installation Guide
- Preparation: Drive a small self-tapping screw (max 5mm length) into each slot except for the center one. These screws will serve as the magnetic catch plates.
- Mount: Remove the existing screw from the left side of the P2S internal frame. Align the holder's center slot and install it using that same screw.
- Dock: Slide your hotends in and push them all the way to the back. You will feel the magnetic lock engage.
Print Recommendations
- Material: PETG / ABS
- Note: Use dry filament to ensure precise tolerances for the magnetic alignment.
⚠️ Safety
- Collision Risk: If the hotend is not pushed fully to the back of the slot, it may collide with the print head.
- Check: Always visually confirm that all nozzles are fully seated before starting a print.
