Description

Boost Me (for free)

If you enjoyed it, feel free to boost :D!

My cat absolutely loves spring toys, but they always come up missing or disappear under furniture, which means constantly buying new ones and making trips to the store.
I designed this 3D printed spring cat toy as a convenient and affordable alternative that can be printed at home anytime. It saves money, saves time, and you never run out of toys when your cat wants to play.
Because I care about my cat's health and safety during playtime, this design features reinforced spring ends to help reduce sharp edges and improve durability. The goal was to create a simple, reliable toy that is safer for everyday play while still being fun and engaging for cats.
I'm sharing this model so others can easily print their own spring toys and offer their cats a safe and enjoyable play experience without constantly buying replacements.

Print notes:
- Use snug supports with a top Z distance of at least 0.28 mm when printing at 0.2 mm layer height to make support removal easier
- Suitable for PLA and PETG (PETG offers higher durability)
- Easy and beginner-friendly print
- Print vertically for best surface finish and consistent spring geometry

If you decide to print it, feel free to share photos of the finished print (and your cat :D).

Disclaimer:
Always supervise pets while playing. This toy is not indestructable and may wear over time.
