BMW ConnectedRide / BMW Connect – Quad Lock Mount
Version 2 – slimmer, cleaner, better fit
I was missing a clean and simple way to mount my Quad Lock on BMW motorcycles equipped with BMW Connect / ConnectedRide.
So I made one.
This is a compact, minimal mount designed specifically for BMW riders who want a clean, solid and purpose-built solution — with the right height depending on their Quad Lock setup.
Now updated to Version 2, with a slimmer design and improved fit in every detail.
What’s new in Version 2
- Slimmer design overall
- Improved fit on both the sides and rear
- Better cable clearance, especially for the original Quad Lock cable
- Threaded for M5 → strong adhesion and a solid, vibration-resistant mount
- Clean BMW text for a more OEM-like look
- Improved support profile → much easier to remove after printing
- Single build plate for both versions
- One print profile included (PLA)
👉 Recommended materials: PETG-CF or ASA / ABS for best durability
Two versions included
Short version
Designed for the standard Quad Lock mount
(regular / non-wireless setup)
Long version
Designed for use with:
- Quad Lock vibration dampener
- and/or wireless charger
The extra height allows the original Quad Lock cable to fit neatly behind the mount.
Both versions are included and ready to print.
Print & material notes
- Small, efficient prints
- Low material usage
- Strong enough for real riding conditions
Recommended materials:
- PETG-CF
- ASA / ABS
👉 PLA works and a profile is included, but for heat, vibration and outdoor use, PETG-CF or ASA/ABS is preferred.
Supports:
- Required on the underside only
- Optimized for easy removal
