A must-print for new machines, a sturdy and practical desk poop bin

Introduction:

A sturdy and practical under-desk trash can that slides under the desk, saving desktop space, and its suitable height doesn't take up legroom

• Smooth rails, sturdy handle; easily pulled out with a gentle tug, a very handy trash can
• Internal dimensions of the trash can are approximately 200x150x150mm, with a volume of 4.5L (1.2 gallons)
• Thanks to its comfortable position and height, it's especially suitable for collecting crumbs while snacking, or for nail clippings, etc If you haven't used an under-desk trash can before, it will definitely offer you a novel experience
• Of course, you can also use it purely as a drawer
• Since most components are axially symmetrical, if customization is needed, you can use the slicing software's split function to modify it to your desired size (Cut out a middle section, then scale that section, and finally assemble)

Printing:

• Since aesthetics are not the primary concern, using PETG is perfectly fine (I used PETG myself); choosing PLA, of course, can yield better surface quality
• Simply print it as is; the good design means this model requires no supports or extra settings
• Due to its relatively large size, if the room temperature is cold, it's recommended to apply glue to the build plate or increase the build plate temperature to reduce warping
• Profile 1 is the Bambu Lab logo version, Profile 2 is the blank, no-logo version, where you can add your own text (of course, if you wish, you can also use my logo)

Installation:

• It can be fixed with nano double-sided tape; if nano double-sided tape is unavailable, M4/M3 countersunk screws can also be used for installation
• If you have a larger build, pay close attention to the installation height of 160mm down from the bottom of the desk; you can measure beforehand to ensure it won't rub against your legs
• The handle is designed to protrude slightly; it is recommended to align the handle's surface flush with the edge of the desk for the best visual effect

2026/1/23 Added a stop mechanism; now, when naturally pulled out, it will be caught by the stop mechanism The trash can must be completely leveled to be removed
