Ring Outdoor Cam Plus Overhead Hooks Mount

Description
I mentioned in my original Ring Outdoor Cam Plus Shelf Mount listing that I’m always happy to help anyone who needs a custom variation to get their Ring Outdoor Cam Plus mounted exactly where they want it. One of our community members (@eljarviso) reached out with a unique installation challenge—mounting his camera inside a gazebo—and that request inspired this new model.
This design allows the Ring Outdoor Cam Plus to be mounted at the top edge of a wall using a dual‑hook system, with the camera attaching upside‑down via the proprietary slots on its underside. This release includes Version 2 of my Ring Outdoor Cam Plus Baseplate, updated after feedback that Version 1 lacked the wedge geometry needed for a truly snug, reliable lock‑in. The revised baseplate now provides a firm slide‑in fit with a satisfying click once fully seated.
The wall plate is designed for 4.5 mm screws with anchors and accommodates screw heads up to 9 mm in diameter. Smaller screws should still function without issue.
As always, I’d love to see how the community puts this mount to use. If you print and install it, please share photos of your setup—seeing these designs in the wild is one of the best parts of contributing to MakerWorld.
Special thanks to @eljarviso for reaching out and trusting me to develop a practical, community‑friendly solution. Collaborations like this are what make designing and refining 3D‑printed hardware so rewarding
