🧩 Modular Print Plate Holder
Expandable System – Print Once, Grow Forever
This modular print plate holder is designed for X1, A1, and P1/P2 series printers, with a very simple goal:
👉 never having to reprint an entire holder every time you acquire a new print plate.
Instead of printing different holders for 3, 5, 7, or more slots, this system allows you to start with a minimal base and expand only when needed, saving time, filament, and space.
To avoid excessively long print times, the versions are 0.2mm Standard. If you want more quality and detail (which I believe is not necessary for a print plate holder) you can download the 3mf and set a better quality (which, however, will require more time).
🔁 Truly Modular and Expandable
▶ Initial Configuration
- 2 mandatory outer modules
- Create 3 slots for print plates
▶ Expansion
- Each additional central module increases capacity by +2 slots
- Capacity grows as follows:
- 3 → 5 → 7 → 9 → …
💡 Key Advantage:
you will never have to reprint an entire holder, but only a central module each time you add a new plate.
🔗 Simple and Solid Connection System
Modules connect easily:
- Bringing them close together
- Inserting the dedicated connection pins
Each set uses:
- 2 connection pins
- 1 side locking hook
This ensures:
- Perfect alignment
- Structural stability
- Visual continuity even with many modules connected
No screws, no glue.
🎨 Module Structure (as per images)
- 🟧 Left outer module – mandatory
- 🟦 Right outer module – mandatory
- 🟪 Central modules – print as many as you want to increase slots

⭐ Why Print It?
- Modular and scalable design
- No filament waste

- Tidy print station
- Ideal for those who use multiple print plates
If you own more than one print plate, this is the last holder you'll ever need to print.
🪛 Instructions
- Take the initial KIT and bring it closer:

- Use two of the pins and insert them into the holes below (the grooves must be placed inwards so that the pins can be removed with a screwdriver when a new module is added):

- Use the side pin to now lock the two upper parts
You will get this:

And by adding one or two modules?
- Initial KIT + 1 expansion = 5 slots

- Initial KIT + 2 expansions = 7 slots

Example final configurations with 3 and 5 slots (you can add as many as you want):
