Boost Me (for free)

Overview I designed this rotating stand primarily to organize and display coffee doypacks (pouches) on a shop counter, but it is versatile enough to hold any hanging items with a standard hole. It stands approximately 450–500 mm tall. I’m sharing it because a sturdy, rotating rack is a universal tool that might be useful for your needs as well.

Key Features

  • Rotating Mechanism: Smooth rotation for easy access to products.
  • Rigid Construction: The design prioritizes stability.
  • Label Holders: Includes dedicated spots for signage plates, designed to be easily customized with simple text or pricing.

Technical Details for Modders If you want to modify the design or create your own attachments, here are the dimensions:

  • Rod Profile: Regular hexagon inscribed in a circle with a radius of 4mm.
  • Tolerance: The holes are designed with a 0.1 mm tolerance. This results in a nice friction fit (press-fit)—it holds firmly but can be disassembled if needed.

Printing Recommendations (Bambu Studio) The print profile includes specific settings to ensure the best quality and strength:

  1. Strength Modifiers: I added modifiers to the threaded parts to increase wall count/infill, ensuring they are strong enough to hold the weight.
  2. Ironing: Ironing is enabled for the top surfaces of the base. It creates a very smooth, professional finish.
  3. Adhesion (Brims): The rods (arms) have a brim enabled. Due to the increased number of walls for strength, they have a tendency to warp, so the brim (or mouse ears) is necessary to keep them straight.

Assembly Tips

  • Center Screw: The main central screw is designed to fit very tightly to ensure the entire stand is rigid and doesn't wobble.
  • Lubrication: Because of the tight fit, I highly recommend adding a drop of oil or lubricant to the screw before assembling. This makes screwing it in much easier while maintaining structural rigidity.

Happy Printing!
