IKEA Antilop High Chair Wall Mount
Print Profile(1)

Description
Who doesn't know it? The IKEA Antilop high chair is unbelievably practical, but its widely flared legs are the natural enemy of every toe and are always in the way in the kitchen or dining room.
I eventually got tired of the constant pushing and pulling. Painstakingly disassembling the chair every time just to create a little space? I certainly didn't feel like doing that – it's just not realistic in everyday life with a child.
The Solution: I developed this wall mount so the high chair disappears on the wall with just one simple movement. It hangs securely, is out of the way, and the floor can finally be properly wiped again without having to slalom
Printing Recommendations
Although the chair is lightweight, the mount is subject to mechanical stress, so I recommend the following settings:
- Material: ABS, ASA or PETG. These materials are tougher and more durable than standard PLA and better withstand mechanical stress.
- Infill: At least 25–40% (Grid or Gyroid for maximum stability).
- Walls: I recommend 4–5 wall lines so that the screw holes are stable enough and nothing breaks out.
Note: Please make sure to use appropriate anchors and screws that match your wall's condition. Safety first!
