Cruise ship keychain (inspired by MSC Cruises)

Description
Cruising is a memorable experience, and many of us like to keep a small reminder of those moments. That idea inspired me to create this cruise ship keychain, loosely based on the MSC Meraviglia-class ships (such as MSC Grandiosa, MSC Virtuosa, and MSC Euribia).
The model was designed using MakerLab and Bambu Studio. It is not intended to be a precise or technically accurate scale model with exact dimensions or proportions. Instead, it’s a fun, compact design, serves as a small keepsake or souvenir.
I printed the keychain versions using a 0.08 mm layer height, which I strongly recommend keeping. The model is quite small, and using thicker layers may cause some fine details to be lost. Higher layer heights may also increase the need for supports. With a 0.08 mm layer height, supports are required only at the front. They are easy to remove, and even if the removal isn’t perfect, any minor leftovers tend to look like part of the ship’s anchor due to the small scale of the details 🙂.
For the bigger version (without the keychain loop), I recommend using the same settings I used: a 0.2 mm layer height. Using a smaller layer height will not add extra detail, but it will require more supports, which may be harder to remove. With 0.2 mm, supports are needed at the front and back, and they are easy to detach.
Profiles guidance:
- Profile 1: No text on the bottom
- Profile 2: Customizable text on the bottom (the default text is “MSC Cruises”, but you can easily replace it with your own text directly in Bambu Studio (see the instruction image below)).
- Profile 3: Bigger version (10 cm) without a keychain loop (this version is not intended to be used as a keychain and is better suited for display or play)
