SCX24 Deadbolt Chassis

I originally printed the Harley Designs SCX24 chassis from Thingiverse but found it didn’t perform well for my build, so every part has since been modified or redesigned.

The chassis is shortened for better articulation, improved approach angle, and a cleaner bumper-less look. With Proline Trenchers, front clearance is significantly increased. The skid plates were slightly reduced while still fitting a receiver and/or ESC, and the battery mount is placed as low as possible to support larger packs, secured with a small Velcro strap (Tightly fits a 1000mAh pack).

Custom front and rear body mounts improve durability and allow easy electronics access. The front mount clears the servo at full articulation, and the rear mount can be drilled or attached with 3M tape for a cleaner install.

A full chassis model is included for reference only (not for printing).

This chassis has been in use for about two years with no breakage or clearance issues, though hard falls may cause the body to pop off.

Update:

 Using the NSDRC RS100 servo, I had to do a bit of trimming to the front body mount for it to fit.
