Description
The Lincoln Memorial.
A few printing considerations if you plan to download the raw file.
- Use at least 15% infill. It is a slightly organic model. This means that there are little to no flat surfaces. It will start printing a top surface with a squiggly line across the infill. If there isn't enough infill to hold this up you may experience a failure.
- Use organic tree supports.
- Use a filament that can hide layer lines well. This isnt really gor the layer lines but more so for the top surfaces of the base. You'll see when you slice it that there are actually about 8-9 top surfaces for these areas due to the nature of the organic modeling. I printed with Bambu Marble PLA. Something like PLA-CF or even maybe a Matte White PLA should work fairly well too.
- The 0.16mm High Quality print profile if preferred, but 0.20 should work just fine as well.
- Ensure your filament is dry & calibrated.
- Ensure your build plate is clean and free of finger oils.
This model started off as a 3D scan and was optimized using Nomad Sculpt.
