Chopper - Kumamoto Statue Replica

Bring a touch of sweetness and determination to your collection with this replica of the Tony Tony Chopper bronze statue. Located in the Kumamoto Zoological and Botanical Garden, this statue celebrates the doctor of the Straw Hat Pirates and his tireless spirit in healing every wound.

I recreated this model maintaining the original proportions of the statue: Chopper with his iconic hat, medical backpack, and his proud and friendly pose.

⚙️ Print Settings

Although Chopper is smaller, he has details that require care, especially the horns and backpack. Here are my tips:

• Supports: Yes, but with caution. Use Tree Supports. Be careful to properly support the horns and the brim of the hat. Being a small model, the supports will detach easily if well set.
• Layer Height: 0.08mm or 0.12mm. Given the small size, a low layer height is essential to not lose the facial expression and fur details.
• Infill: 15% (Gyroid). Being a more "solid" model than others, it doesn't need much infill to be strong.
• Brim: Generally not necessary if your build plate is well-leveled, but a small brim can help if you decide to print the horns with great detail.
• Material: Pink or Brown PLA for a faithful look, or Bronze/Copper PLA for the original statue effect.

🎨 Post-Processing

Chopper is great fun to paint! The vibrant colors of his pink hat and clothes make him a standout piece in any display case. If you prefer the "monument" look, metallic paint will transform him into a true museum-quality collectible.
