Description

This is a 150 mm × 150 mm ultra‑thin “3D printed paper” designed and tested on the Bambu Lab A1 mini, aiming for the thinnest printable sheet using a standard 0.4 mm nozzle. It is perfect as a demo piece to show how thin FDM prints can go, for light craft projects, or as a base for prototyping textures and patterns.

The model is a flat square tuned for very low layer height and minimal thickness, so it prints fast and uses very little filament while still remaining flexible and easy to handle. Recommended to print in PLA with a fine layer height profile for best surface quality on all Bambu Lab printers (A1 mini, A1, P1 series, X1 series).

Recommended print settings

  • Printer: Any Bambu Lab printer (designed on A1 mini)
  • Nozzle: 0.4 mm
  • Layer height: 0.08–0.12 mm (fine profile)
  • Walls: 1–2 perimeters depending how strong you want it
  • Top/bottom layers: 2–3
  • Infill: 0% (solid perimeters only)
  • Material: PLA
  • Bed adhesion: Textured PEI or cool plate with glue if needed

Notes

  • Handle gently; this model is intentionally very thin and flexible.
  • Great for demonstrating bed leveling, first‑layer quality, and extreme thin‑wall printing on the A1 mini.
