Holder for switching balloon lights (LED) on and off

Description:
Many are familiar with the problem: The small balloon lights are practical and look great – but they cannot be switched off. Especially after Christmas or parties, the light often ends up unused in a drawer, even though it still works.

This is exactly what I designed this holder for.
The holder makes it easy to activate and deactivate the balloon light again, without damaging the casing or having to dispose of the light.

I myself decorated several gifts with balloon lights for Christmas. The feedback was always the same: "It's a shame you can't switch them off."
This 3D printed holder solves exactly this problem.

Function:

  • The balloon light is inserted into the holder
  • The integrated mechanism deliberately establishes or breaks the contact
  • The light can therefore be switched on and off
  • No gluing, no soldering, no permanent modification to the balloon light

Boost Me (for free)

I would be absolutely thrilled about a boost :) Thank you very much

  • Extends the lifespan of the balloon lights
  • Ideal for gifts, decoration, craft projects, or DIY ideas
  • Easy 3D printing without supports (depending on printer/settings)

Print instructions:

  • Material: PLA recommended
  • No special print settings needed
  • Suitable for common balloon LEDs (see pictures)

Note:
Balloon light is not part of the print file – it is for illustrative purposes only in the pictures
