Magnetic Checkers / Draughts Pieces
I've designed these quick to print, magnetic Checkers / Draughts pieces to add to your existing magnetic chess board. They take a 5x2mm magnet in the base of each piece. The tolerance is set tight so no glue is required. I inserted them with the flat side of a dinner knife! They are then finished with self adhesive felt pads so they can me moved silently across the board. They are 30mm x 8mm high. I printed these in PLA Silver Silk and PLA Coffee Gold. Each set takes approx 1 hour to print and was produced on my X1C printer.
I purchased my magnets from Amazon. If you want the tolerance for the magnets to be greater then please message me, i'm happy to do that and they will of course need gluing in place.
The magnetic chess board you see in the pictures is the board I printed from https://makerworld.com/en/models/1235070-chessboard?from=search#profileId-1376439 its a fabulous foldable magnetic board which prints really well and is highly usable. I printed the board at 75% and my pieces are designed to fit this size board really nicely.
