The Ultimate Mason Block
Print Profile(1)

Description
A simple “modernization” to the ever-classic wooden mason block design. Improvements were incorporated to make the mason block easily to be used in wood frame construction and remodeling projects. Application on the jobsite is only limited by your imagination.
Straightening top plates, check for bows in walls, aligning sheeting establishing marks prior to snaping a caulk line, check for support beam timber/LVL straightness and flatness over a long span, straighten facia boards, rafter tails, LVP/Hardwood flooring layout, and list goes on and on for its use.
- Two optional magnets slots (20mmLx5mmWx2mmD) are incorporated to provide screw holding provision while you are relocating the mason blocks for your next wood framing string pull and assist in not losing your screws during the process. --keeping them with the block. If you choose to mount the magnets--use some dabs of super glue or E6000.
- Diamond grips on the blocks end helps to grip slick surfaces such as cement block faces and wood framing members.
- "String grooves and loop reliefs" are incorporated into the design to ensure the string line lays flat or raised on the surface.
- Screw holes are designed to utilize panhead 1.5" KREG screws to mount the blocks to wood framing members--in a variety of possible mounting positions.
- Built-in string gauge at the tip of Mason Line Tool to check for flatness, dips or crowns in linear runs of walls in framing or CMUs.
- Lightweight and weatherproof --the construction guys and gals won't have to worry about water ruining their wooden block--if they get left out in the rain. (Which does happen occasionally).
- Mason block works identical to any other wooden block design for running CMU block courses after laying the corners.
Great stocking stuffer for Christmas or a gift for the Handyman/Handy gal in your family.
