Description
I created this small insert to be able to fit 23.5mm wooden dowels in the Zwift table published here.
Zwift Turbo Trainer Laptop / iPad Stand - Free 3D Print Model - MakerWorld
It also fits the modification for better leg stability published here:
Quickfix for better leg stability - Free 3D Print Model - MakerWorld
In hardware stores I was unable to find 25mm dowels
By using these inserts, the 23.5mm dowels fit firmly but they are still able to be removed to for example store the Zwift table somewhere during times you don't need it.
Do be aware to print the profile using a 0.2mm nozzle, as the walls of the insert are pretty narrow.
To fit the inserts:
- put them into the holes provided for the legs.
- Push the wooden dowels firmly in, you will need some force to do so, until you are unable to push them in any further
- Now you can remove the wooden dowel again, the insert will stay fitted to the dowel as seen on 1 of the pictures provided on top of the page.
