Hello everyone!

I am an amateur creator who has just discovered the magic of 3D printing. In this space I collect my first steps: small projects born to be useful in everyday life. I am still learning, so each of my models is an experiment in functionality and simplicity. If you like what you see, follow me in this evolution!

Creality Dry Box 2.0 - PC4-M10 Adapter (Improved M8 Version)

I recently downloaded JON.JFL's original model for my Creality Dry Box 2.0, but like many other users, I encountered difficulties in properly screwing on the M6 nut.

To practice and improve the functionality of the part, I decided to redesign the entire connector from scratch. My version replaces the M6 nut with an integrated thread designed to screw directly into the M8 knurled washer, ensuring a more solid and hassle-free coupling.

This is a great project for beginners who want to test their printer's precision with threading.

Recommended Print Settings

Here are the parameters I used to achieve the best result:

  • Printer: Bambulab A1 mini
  • Filament: Black PLA
  • Print Time: 18 minutes
  • Filament Used: 2.46 g (~0.83 m)
  • Plate: 1 Plate
  • Layer Height: 0.16 mm (Initial Layer: 0.2 mm)
  • Supports: No supports needed

Tools Used

  • Modeling Software: Fusion 360

This project is part of my learning process.

If you decide to print it, any feedback or suggestion is precious: feel free to suggest improvements or modifications to make it more efficient, as long as it maintains the original spirit of the design.

Let's grow together, one layer at a time!
