Description

Boost Me (for free)

I've reinforced the keyring loop so it's durable enough for daily use, but small enough to fit perfectly in your hand. If you print one, please share a photo! A Boost is always appreciated and helps fund my prototyping. šŸ™

Mr. Whatsit (Vecna's Disguise)

"I'm here to protect you from the monsters."

He looks like a kind gentleman, but do NOT trust him. This Mr. Whatsit Mini Figure captures the terrifying new disguise of Vecna (Henry Creel) from Stranger Things Season 5. Masquerading as a benevolent "imaginary friend" to manipulate Holly Wheeler, this figure hides a dark secret behind his friendly appearance.

Modeled in the classic Funko style, Mr. Whatsit stands tall in his brown three-piece suit, complete with his signature fedora and the pocket watch he uses to lure his victims. The name—a twisted reference to A Wrinkle in Time—is just another layer of his deception.

šŸŽ Model Highlights:

  • Season 5 Villain: The first model of Vecna's psychological form.
  • Deceptive Detail: Features the iconic round red-rimmed glasses and fedora that make him appear harmless to children.
  • The Lure: Sculpted with the gold pocket watch chain clearly visible on his vest.
  • Sinister Pose: He stands with his hands patiently behind his back, waiting for the perfect moment to strike.

šŸ–Øļø Printing Recommendations

To capture the sharp lines of his suit and the roundness of his glasses:

  • Nozzle: 0.4mm (Standard) or 0.2mm (Highly recommended for the glasses frames and watch chain).
  • Layer Height: 0.12mm or lower.
  • Infill: 15% Gyroid.
  • Supports: Tree Supports (Auto) are required.
    • Critical Area: The brim of the fedora and the chin need support. The rest of the body is mostly self-supporting due to the upright pose.
  • Material: Grey or White PLA (Matte finish makes painting the suit easier).

šŸŽØ Painting Guide: The Wolf in Sheep's Clothing

Mr. Whatsit dresses to impress (and deceive). Here is his color palette:

  1. The Suit: A warm, medium brown for the jacket, vest, and pants.
  2. The Glasses: Thick, reddish-brown frames—these are his defining feature.
  3. The Shirt & Tie: A crisp white shirt paired with a deep red tie.
  4. The Details: Paint the pocket watch chain Gold and the fedora a dark chocolate brown.

šŸ“ø Beware the Grandfather Clock...

If you print this model, keep him away from your other figures (especially Holly!). Please upload a MakerWorld Profile picture to show off your paint job.

Download, Print, and remember: He is NOT your friend. šŸ•·ļøšŸ•°ļø
