Bring a museum-style Tyrannosaurus rex skull to your shelf in a satisfying, display-ready size — ~250mm tall on the build plate.

What to expect

  • Upper and lower jaw are connected in the correct anatomical position
  • That connection is not structural, so handle carefully during support removal
  • Many supports are required to ensure the teeth and fine details print correctly

Print time & printer note (important)

This is a long print, and due to the size and weight, if you’re printing on a Bambu A1 it’s strongly recommended to reduce overall print speed to ~50%.
It adds time, but greatly improves reliability — and it’s totally worth it in the end.

Support removal tips

There are a lot of supports here by necessity, but they’re very manageable if you stay patient:

  • Crush or snip supports close to the contact point first, then remove gently
  • Take extra care around the teeth and the jaw connection
  • If something resists, don’t pull — remove a bit more support instead

Take your time and you’ll be rewarded with a clean, impressive skull.

If you print it, photos and boosts are hugely appreciated and help me keep releasing more fossil-style models. 🦖💀
