This collection features two distinct interpretations of "马年" (Year of the Horse) calligraphy sculptures, each capturing different aspects of the horse's spirit. A unique fusion of traditional Chinese calligraphy and modern 3D printing art, celebrating the Year of the Horse (马年, Mǎ Nián) in the Chinese zodiac.

🎨 DESIGN CONCEPT | 设计理念

These sculptures transforms the Chinese characters "马年" (Year of the Horse) into a dynamic, galloping horse through flowing calligraphy brushstrokes. The design philosophy merges traditional Chinese brush painting aesthetics with contemporary sculptural form.

The character "马" (Mǎ - Horse) naturally contains the visual essence of a horse within its strokes, making it perfect for this artistic interpretation. The character "年" (Nián - Year) forms the stable base and integrates into the horse's body, symbolizing a strong foundation for the new year.

Every brushstroke is intentionally connected, creating a continuous flow that represents:

  • Energy and momentum: the horse's forward motion symbolizes courage and drive
  • Unity and harmony: all strokes connect as one, representing wholeness
  • Traditional meets modern: ancient calligraphy art reimagined for 3D printing
