NANOHOLD R.E.G.A | Robotic Enhanced Grip Assistant
NANOHOLD R.E.G.A uses motor‑current feedback to sense grip tightness automatically, giving you a smart, adaptive way to hold wires, PCBs, and small components without crushing them. Perfect for electronics work, prototyping, and precision tinkering.
Bill of Materials
- 1 × Supermini nRF52840 module
- 2 × 3 mm smooth aluminium or stainless‑steel rods, 33 mm length
- 4 × M1.7 flat‑head screws, 8 mm length
- 1 × Feetech SCS0009 servo
- 2 × 3 mm LEDs (green, red)
- Resistors: 10 kΩ (red), 1 kΩ (green)
- (Adjust to match brightness, max. 2 mA)
- 1 × SATEL VL53L4CD time‑of‑flight sensor
- 1 × TPS61023 boost DC‑DC converter
- 3.3 V → 5 V @ 1 A for servo drive
- 1 × 1N5711 diode + 4.7 kΩ resistor
- UART full‑duplex → half‑duplex conversion
- Anode → RX and servo single‑wire bus
- 3.3 V → RX through 4.7 kΩ
- Cathode → TX
- 2 × small oval SMD tactile buttons, 3 × 4 × 2.5 mm
- 1 × 0.28‑inch orange 3‑segment voltage meter
- 1 × AO3402 MOSFET (N‑channel)
- Used for power‑gating the voltage meter
- 1 × LiPo battery, 102040, 3.7 V
