Description

This model is a compact, stackable storage tray for SFP and SFP+ transceivers, available in 10 and 20 version. It is designed for clean organization, quick access, and efficient 3D printing, making it ideal for data centers, network labs, ISP's, WISP's, workshops, homelab-ers. It can used for field tech's but it's not recommended due to the trays no been able to close securely.

The tray uses a spring-style holding design that securely grips transceivers of varying sizes and tolerances. This ensures a reliable fit across a wide range of SFP/SFP+ modules while still allowing easy insertion and removal, regardless of vendor or housing differences.

To improve usability, removal holes on the underside allow transceivers to be pushed out from below. The design is optimized to use minimal filament while maintaining rigidity and durability.

Multiple trays can be stacked, making it easy to scale storage vertically and keep optics organized in limited space.

For inventory management and fast identification, the print pofile's have custom text added using the slicer, allowing you to label trays by speed, type, or application.

Printing / Slicing tips / Warping

My printing examples are with the A1 mini and the open frame deign tends to cause the corners to lift, to mitigate this I have apply mouse ears around the print profiles that can easily trimmed after print. If you have a heated chamber printer you can remove the discs on the slicer for less hassle.

This tray is perfect for anyone managing a large variety of optics who wants a printable, space-efficient, and professional-looking storage solution. If you like my work consider a boost
