Description
Essential Tool for Painting Minis
A print-in-place 3-jaw chuck built for miniature painters. It holds your figures securely, allowing for improved control during brushwork. No assembly or supports are needed.
Version 2!
With all the feedback from the previous version, and having used that version myself, I decided it would be fun to have another go at this concept. Here are some improvements from version 1! Now with a more beefed up hinge
- Now fits all sizes supported in v1 with just one handle
- Support arm to better hold the handle to access hard to reach places
- Spins freely around your mini
- Two versions of the support arm, one with a hinge to get it out of the way if needed
- Small geometry improvements for easier release after printing
- Tuned print profiles for more consistent results between printers (Hopefully)
- More weight in the bottom integrated in the print profiles
- etc. and more :P

Now it should freely spin around, opening one way, and closing in rotating the other way as shown in the video.
If you want a version without the support arm, version 1 can be found on my profile, or by clicking here. Version 1
