Volvo EX90, Polestar 3 Key Tag Case

Update: 12/21/2024 Added a little extra room to the latching part of the case.  Previously it was difficult to get the key tag in and out.  You may need to still file down the bump if it is still too difficult to remove.

The key tag that ships with the Volvo EX90 is very poorly designed.  The plastic is very flimsy and the key ring hole is too small to handle most key rings.  Plus, any key ring you add will cause this key tag to be unable to sit flat on the Qi charger.  The manual recommends recharging every few weeks.

This model adds a case that the key tag can snap into.  The key ring hole is shifted away from the Qi side of the key tag so that it will lay flat on the Qi charger without having to remove the key ring (recommended no larger than 20mm key ring diameter).  Please refer to the picture for the correct orientation as the existing key tag key ring hole is used in the model to keep the case on.

I printed this in both PLA and TPU (0.15u resolution).  The PLA fits like a glove but is a little more noisy next to other keys.  The TPU takes more post-processing to remove excess plastic but it is very quiet next to the other keys.
