The Toothbrush Travel Case Generator is my first model, wich uses my proven hinge design:

 

There are following parameters available, the table contains also the values for the uploaded print profiles of the models: 

 

 

All the generated hinges can be opened up to 360°.

 

A tolerance test is recommended to determine printing accuracy. 

This is a simple and quick test that only requires 2g of filament 

and will help to check out the tolerance of your printer:

Recommendations for printing:

  • For durable versions of the hinges, printing with PETG, ABS or ASA is recommended.
  • For havy duty applications, printing with a fiber-reinforced filament such as PETG-CF, ASA-CF or PA6-CF is strongly recommended.
  • The model can be printed without any support structure and brim. If there are adhesion problems, brim should be adjusted accordingly.

Hi, I integrated a hinge into my project that I partially adapted from your model. It is a modification of the flat hinge. I would like to publish my model on MakerWorld and wanted to ask if that would be okay with you. How to adjust the tolerance?

It is really easy: adjust the parameter pKnuckleGap in Parametric Model Maker. Please note that this parameter is only used if the parameter pConfig is set to >>> CUSTOM SETTINGS <<<.
