Parametric BSPP (G) / NPT Threaded Pipe Adapter – Customizable Connector

This is a fully parametric pipe adapter designed for BSPP (G) and NPT threads, built for reliable 3D printing and real-world use.

Unlike many “decorative” thread models, this design uses standard thread dimensions (major diameter, pitch, and thread angle) and generates true triangular thread profiles via the proven threads-scad library. The result is stronger, clearer, and more printable threads that actually fit.

🔧 Supported Standards

  • BSPP (G / ISO 228) – 55° Whitworth thread profile
  • NPT – 60° thread profile (nominal straight-thread form for printed parts)

Common sizes included (expandable):

  • G: 1/8, 1/4, 3/8, 1/2, 3/4, 1, 1-1/4
  • NPT: 1/8, 1/4, 3/8, 1/2, 3/4, 1, 1-1/4

🖨️ Printing Tips

  • Print with higher perimeter count (≥3 recommended)
  • Layer height ≤ 0.28 mm for best thread definition
  • If threads are tight: increase thread_tolerance slightly
  • If threads are loose: decrease thread_tolerance
