Description

This is a PETG temperature tower adapted from OrcaSlicer’s built-in calibration assets and modified to work reliably with Bambu Studio. The tower tests a defined PETG nozzle temperature range in stepped increments. This allows you to quickly identify the optimal printing temperature for your specific filament and setup.

This model is intended to help tune PETG for common issues such as stringing, poor layer adhesion, inconsistent extrusion, weak bridging, and surface defects. Each section of the tower is printed at a different temperature, making it easy to visually compare results and select the best balance between strength, clarity, and print quality.

The included 3MF file is fully compatible with Bambu Studio and can also be used in OrcaSlicer. This design is based on extensive real-world testing, with over 140 successful calibration prints across multiple filaments and printers (Based on maker world data). This ensurs consistent and repeatable results. It provides a fast, reliable method for dialing in PETG, PETG HF, and PCTG profiles before committing to longer prints.

If a range of temperatures produces acceptable results, selecting the middle of that range is recommended. For higher flow rates or faster print speeds, using the higher end of the optimal range may yield better layer bonding and extrusion stability.

This remix follows the AGPL-3.0 license of the original asset, includes all source files, and provides full attribution to OrcaSlicer: https://github.com/OrcaSlicer/OrcaSlicer and gaaZolee: https://www.thingiverse.com/gaaZolee/designs
