Elegoo Centauri Carbon Interlocking Riser
Print Profile(0)
Description
After trying several existing riser designs, I found they often suffered from flimsy joints or unsightly middle seams or needing glue to keep them together. I decided to design my own to solve these issues, focusing on structural integrity and keeping the shape and style similar to the printer.
While many risers feature manual vents, I found them unnecessary. If your printer’s intake and exhaust fans are configured correctly for your specific filament, the machine will maintain the ideal chamber temperature automatically.
Key Features
- Glueless Interlocking Joints: The sections connect nice and stay together with clean tolerances and no glue. They stay firmly together during use but can be disassembled without tools or damage if needed.
- Seamless Glass Fit: Precisely clearanced to cradle the top glass panel, ensuring it won't slide or shift during fast print movements.
- Integrated PTFE Passthrough: A dedicated rear port for the PTFE tube—the primary reason for a riser—allowing for a smoother filament path.
- Low-Profile Design: Maintains a sleek look without adding a ridiculous amount of height to the printer's footprint.
Print Settings & Performance
- Material: PLA+
- Tested Stability: Printed with the chamber lid on and door closed.
- Thermal Management: By utilizing the printer's internal intake and exhaust fans, I successfully maintained a consistent chamber temperature of 30°C throughout the print.
