IKEA SKADIS Pegboard hub Adapter for KALKSTUFF Modification Accessories

If you've also purchased this IKEA KALKSTUFF cable organizer but don't want to use various adhesives to stick it to the pegboard, you can try downloading and printing this adapter I designed. It adds an integrated hook to the KALKSTUFF, allowing it to blend seamlessly with the pegboard. When not needed, it can be easily removed from the pegboard or relocated (which would be troublesome if using adhesive).

This adapter only supports the longest and largest size from the "KALKSTUFF cable organizer 3-piece set". If there's demand, I might adapt it for the other two sizes later.

Installation Instructions (Must Read)

• The top and bottom sides of each KALKSTUFF actually have different designs. Upon closer inspection, you'll notice that the reinforcing ribs on both sides vary in width.When installing, ensure the wider side faces downwards into the adapter, and insert the two small "U-shaped" pins included in the setup into the adapter's top slots to secure the upper part of the KALKSTUFF. This ensures the KALKSTUFF fits perfectly with the adapter, reducing the possibility of the KALKSTUFF separating, falling off, or even the adapter breaking when securing or removing cables later on.

• This adapter has a compact design, requiring very little space on the pegboard; it can be installed using only a 1x2 space. You can install it at the very bottom of the pegboard, like I did, to conveniently manage cables for a Switch dock on the shelf above, while also hiding the hub underneath the shelf.
