Description

Display your favorite horror prop in style with this custom-designed "Burnt Hand" and display plinth. This model is textured to resemble scarred, burnt skin—perfect for wearing a replica bladed glove or standing alone as a creepy decor piece.

The set includes the detailed hand model and a sturdy, chamfered display base designed to accept a dowel for mounting.

Key Features

  • High Detail Texture: Modeled with veins and burn textures that pop when printed in Silk or shiny filaments.
  • Stable Base: A weighted-style plinth with a clean, classic profile to elevate the prop.
  • Easy Assembly: The hand and base are connected via a simple dowel (details below).

Printing Recommendations

  • Filament: The example in the photos was printed in Copper/Bronze Silk PLA, which gives the "skin" a fantastic, gruesome sheen without painting. The base looks great in black or gold.
  • Supports:
    • Hand: Print upright (wrist on plate). Tree/Organic supports are highly recommended for the fingers and thumb to ensure clean overhangs.
    • Base: Prints flat on the bed; minimal to no supports required depending on your printer's bridging capability (3mf has full outter supports on).
  • Infill: 10-15% Gyroid is sufficient for the hand. You may want to increase wall loops or infill on the base for extra weight and stability.

Assembly You will need a dowel to connect the hand to the base.

  • Dowel Size: 35mm wooden or printed dowel (included in file).
  • Tip: Glue the dowel into the base first, then slide the hand on top for a secure fit - Not required if you'd like to swivel the hand.
